It is so helpful to know of signs like this when dealing with a small child who isn't verbal enough to tell me they have numbness or tingling.I can only watch for obviouse signs like weakness.Even that is difficult now because of the effects of her last strokes. I worry everytime it looks like she is not as strong as the day before,or if she cries for no apparent reason. She actually had one stroke in her sleep(this was before her surgery). She woke up one morning and couldn't lift her right arm to open the fridge. It didn't even faze her at all she just used her left arm and continued to help memakean egg sandwich. She is such a trooper.I was never even sure if she had headaches before her diagnosis. One thing we have noticed only in hindsite is that she used to wake up crying or wimpering.Wejustthoughtshe had a hard time wakeing up. Now I think she might have been wakeing up with headaches.Has anyone experienced this?
Mary
