Your answer helps me understand what may have been happening to Kathleen.I so wish I knew that she might have been is such pain.It hurts me so that I didn't know.I didn't put it together until a couple months after surgery I noticed that she didn't wake up crying anymore. Hopefully that means she isn't getting anymore headaches if that's what it was.I don't even remember when it started for her.She usually wasn't even really awake whe she would start wimpering, then she would end up wakeing up crying. I thought she just had a tough time wakign up because it seemed to become "normal" for her.I think maybe it had something to do with the changes in her blood pressure as she woke up. One of Kathleens strokes was while she was sleeping. From what I have learned this is not uncommon because of the changes in blood pressure while you sleep. She never vommited but I do know this can be a part of a migraine. Thanks Lisa,Iam learning so much about what it is like for Kathleen through the adults with this disease.
