Hello people I am Kims husband, and Hannah's dad. I too stumbled on this site. I saw my wife had posted something on it. This site is a great thing for all of us. I am almost in tears facing the reality of it all. The pictures of DJ woke me up. Men usually don't worry about things untill it happens. We tend not to think about things, and block it out. A defense mechanism I guess. Well my daughter Hannah is the prettiest girl in the world, she takes after her beautiful mother. Hannah is a Tom boy who loves sports, and competes head to head with boys in sports like soccer, basketball, and karate. You see I have my own small school, and Hannah is going for her Jr. Black Belt this year. Writing this I am now tearing up, and starting to lose control. Deep breathes, deep breaths. You can visit our karate school, and get to see me through the website, and even Hannah on our pictures page. She is a great little girl, and she will go through alot. She is a toughie though. When she was told they were going to shave her head on one side her reply was "Cool can they shave both sides". She even wanted her hair dies blue, or green after seeing the girls at the mall. We will have our hands full when she is older. That is quite alright with me. I will keep you all posted on her progress. I am aggrevated that the angiogram takes two weeks to schedule, and then we meet with the surgeon, then have to schedule an appointment for surgery. It is not moving ahead quickly enough for me. Also when we told her primary that these headaches were something out of the ordinary he just said we were just parents, and that it was stress. Well a scream from a little girl who vomits from a sharp headache pain isn't stress. I am angry at her pediatrition. My wife works at a hospital, and scheduled her own appointment with a pediatric neurologist who diagnosed the disease. Just an idea for you. How about having T'shirts made up for people to purchase who have gone through moyamoya sold on this website. Just an idea. I can talk forever. I would like to thank DJ for this web site. You give information, and support to those who need it. I can't say thank you enough. Also hello to my wife I love you so very much, and you are indeed my true soul mate. Thank you for helping me through this too. You give so much support to the family. You are my angel sent to me from above. Here comes the tears. I am a big sissy I guess. Thanks to all, and the best of health.
