Correct. My right side was way ahead of my left side at the beginning, although my left side did show SOME narrowing.
They didn't do the surgery on the left side originally because they didn't think the left side was blocked enough to support the graft, although the right needed it ASAP!
He's waiting till May to have another angiogram? I certainly hope he doesn't have a major stroke between now and then!
Just because the disease hasn't shown up on both sides at the same time doesn't mean the surgery won't be helpful on the "bad side". Anything to keep from suffering permanent dammage is worth it as far as I'm concerned.
Been there, done that.....
