Hi Elaine,

Sorry to hear you're still having problems. I remember a while back, that you were having alot of balance problems as well. Is that still the case? I sure hope not, you had quite a few bad falls. You were in my prayers.
My family and I have did quite a bit of research on Moyamoya and I have never heard of anyone (If they had the proper surgery for their condition) to ever have regressed afterwards. Perhaps the surgeries were not as successful as they should have been and that it really isn't regression. Do you mind me asking, what type of surgery did you have and with what doctor? They are very important factors. Did you have a SPEC scan before and after your surgeries and Angiogram? In other words, are you sure that you eventually achieved proper blood flow after your surgeries? See, I have a niece who has had both surgeries (STA-MCA bypass) and I want to be sure of all the facts, since I have never heard of this happening after STA-MCA bypass surgery and I wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong idea that it could happen to them, when perhaps that isn't even the case with you. Did that make any sense? I guess I just want to understand the whole picture, before I could say that I've ever heard of someone regressing after surgery. I would appreciate any info you could give me to help me understand.

You certainly will continue to be in my prayers Elaine.

God bless,
Marlene
