Hi June, My daughter Mandy was diagnosed with MM in Dec. of 2002 since then she has had 2 wonderfully sucessfull brain surgeries in California at Stanford University by Dr. Gary Steinberg he is absolutely awesome! Several of the internet family support group we have here have gone there also. D.J. the one who started our family has also had his 2 surgeries there, he is the one that gave us the info. and we decided to go there. The nursing was like no other and I have many years of hospital experience staying with my other child through 5 years of almost constant hospitalization as well as Mandy with her MM. Mandy is 20 yrs. old and suffered left side paralysis but has gained back a tremendous amount but definately has concentrating issues and reading issues as well. It is and has gotten better and better as time goes on. It's been 6 months since her diagnosis and she has done leaps and bounds. Any more info. you need please ask I'll answer anything you ask.
