Hi, My name is Nancy and my daughter has moyamoya and had surgery in Feb. and March 2003, all we did is call the surgeons office and we were told to send all Mandy's films angiograms cat scans ect. to his office so we overnighted them and in a day they called us to tell us they thought surgery was a good idea and what type they thought was best as there is several different types. We went to Dr. Steinberg in Ca. who is absolutely awesome so is Stanford University the hospital we were in D.J. also had his surgery there the creator of this web site and several others on the site. The nursing and everything was excellent. Dr. Scott in Boston also does the surgery but he's at a childrens hospital I'm sure he'll give an opinion though and if chosen I'm sure makes exceptions.
