Hi Elaine~ Thank you for getting back to me about your situation. I've been concerned. I've yet to hear of anyone regressing so quickly and needing surgery again. Your case is certainly extraordinary to me, in that you have so many other additional complications and conditions to complicate an already complex condition. It's more than I can even begin to understand with moyamoya being so rare. I understand now though that you didn't have the most favored surgeries, the way I read about them. Do the doctors believe your balance problem is due to the progressive deterioration or is it another complication you're dealing with?
I've seen the horrible effects of moyamoya, but, with the right doctor (like Dr. Steinberg)I've also seen the miraculous results after the surgeries he's performed. All I can say is, God bless you Elaine and I'll pray for these wondrous results for you also. I know that specialists in this disease are achieving it.
