The test they do to diagnose moyamoya is an MRA and an angiogram,& MRI,Moyamoya is miss diagnosed often before found,just keep pushing if your current Dr. won't test more get another one that will. My daughter had 4 strokes before diagnosis but not because it was miss diagnosed we just did'nt know she had it.One year prior she was having siezures which we now realize it was moyamoya the surgeon told us. Please keep persueing this before there is real or more damage.Any more questions just ask.
