Hi, My daughter Mandy had surgery in California by Steinberg in Feb. 2003 and March 2003. We live in Virginia, but right now airline tickets are very cheap. We're going out there the end of this month begining of next and price line.com was taking bids from us for 75.00 per ticket you just have to be a little flexible. Dr. Steinberg will help out as quickly as he see needed by your film results, Amber was an 11 yr. old he got out there immediately who had surgery the same time as Mandy where Mandy didn't go for surgery until a month or so after he saw her films because her strokes were so severe her brain needed to cool off Mandy had 4 strokes 3 major. Amber was only having TIAs but needed surgery fast. I don't want to scare you but you need to have this taken care of at any cost if possible, life is to precious. The sooner the better. It is so worth it from our experience and many, many, many, others to go to Dr. Steinberg he is the best and Stanford is like no other hospital. We were so very pleased with the whole experience.
