my husband was diagnoised with moyamoya in late Feb. 2003 after several strokes which left him with aphasia, no reading, writing but no reading, speach etc. problems,plus a right field cut. In early June he had 2 more strokes and is waiting now to see a surgeon. My concern is that I don't know enough to make the decision about surgery. If I understand correctly, not doing anything to restore abetter blood supply would not be the best course. If you've had surgery or other treatment please let me know if you feel your treatment was succesful. Thank you, Sandy
