How long has everyone else had to wait from the first diagnosis to the first surgery? It has been4 months since Tylers stroke, and 2 months since his TIA on the opposite side.
When he had his stroke he had caught the stomach flu and dehydrated enough to finish closing off the artery that MM was affecting and we didn't know he had MM. Now the stomach flu is making it's rounds again, what can I do to help prevent another stroke if he gets the flu again?
I'm hoping to hear from the insurance anyday now, but I'm so scared Tyler will have another stroke before they get done with their red tape.
