My Dad had a stroke in 1983(he was 39)that was said to be caused by this disease. He had headaches for 10 years before it got him. He was told he probably got it in Vietnam(serving our country). My question is, can anyone tell me how likely it is to be inherited? I cannot find a whole lot of info on this subject. I have had headaches that have gotten alot worse and twitches or leg jerks for the past 5 years. I have also experienced shoulder and arm or hand numbness. My sister has bad headaches also, but I think that is all she suffers from. We are both white(so is my father). She is 30 and I am 26. Does this seem likely that we could have inherited this disease?
