Hi. Missy I am pondering the same with DJ and Lisa
why are the doctors, saying it doesn't look good
for your neice? I to have a child with moyamoya only God knows the answer to that question. Doctors are merely people that God gives us to try to help, But if you go to the right doctor who has a lot of experience with moyamoya, who knows he just might be able to help. I am speaking of DR.Stienberg from Stanford Medical Center, he is good we just got back from there on March 20th. our 11year old daughter had surgery for moyamoya. She started back to school Monday for a half day all week then back full time next her whole right side of the brain was covered and spreading to the leftside. Doctors in Fort Worth TX. told us to wait till june so Ambers brain would calm down, from TIA"s well guess what their brain does not calm down, maybe for a short time , we were not willing to wait for the big stroke to come. We saw one of the doctors on Tuesday, he could not beleive that Amber was up doing what she is doing jusy after two brain surgerys. I think that if you are in doubt about your doctors advice look else where. Joyce Stierwalt
