Hi Mary--I know of several people having babies after being DXed with Moyamoya....the 11th person DXed with MM in the United States (first paitent of Dr. Scott's 25 years ago) Renee was DXed in her early teens and had both sides done, she is now a nurse (in pedactric's) she says because of all the times she spent in the hospital as a child, she wanted to help other children. She has a son that I think is around 8 or 9, she had him tested, he showed no signs. I met a lady that lives an hour from me that was in her early 30's when DXed and she has a 1 1/2 year old son. Another is a young girl almost 18 and had both sides done at the same time and got pregnant a couple month's after her surgeries, her daughter is almost 2 and both are doing very well. So there is life after Moyamoya.
