Hello.  I was diagnosed with Moya Moya when I was 24.  I had several mild strokes in my early 20's and went misdiagnosed until age 24.  I had 2 surgeries, both my left and right side, in 1998 and 1999.  I was followed for a couple of years and then told I was "good to go".   I've since moved to a new state and do not have a neurologist here as I've never seen a need for one.  I'm now 48 and wondering if I should just "get a check up" or something. 

Also, does anyone have any good data on life expectancy after surgery?
