OkRadL New Poster Offline I Love MM.com! Posts: 2	Questions Sep 28^th, 2012 at 2:08pm Does this always show on an MRI? I have the genetic disposition and terrible sensory issues as well as parethesias.....but MRI was OK.

Our daughter was first diagnossed via MRI. Post op for the bypass on her left side she was given another MRI which showed the right side was in need of an urgent op, they then scheduled an Angiogram which apparently is 4x more pixilated then the MRI. After this they said even tho her right side is now showing signs of MM which is wasnt 4 months ago, it wasnt as bad as what the MRI had showed. So I would say from my experiance the MRI will show up MM. Feel free to message me if you need any more info.

Hers was found with an angiogram. This doesn't mean that some people are diagnosed with an MRI...just didn't work for us.
