Hillary,

Please give her a big hug for us and know that you all will be in our thoughts and prayers. I'm sure this will be the beginning of a whole new wonderful life and another success story. You've got your precious little girl in the hands of the best doctor in the world!!

They also have a place there at Stanford where you can get on the computer and keep us posted as to how the first one goes. Please let us know as soon as you can.

Have a safe trip...

God bless,
Mar

Holly did well through surgery, it took a few hours longer then what they thought, but she had a somewhat stable night in ICU and should be transfered around lunch time to another room.  She refuses to drink right now and is wanting to go home, but very awake and alert at what is going on.  Linda and Jack were here with us waiting and then again when Dr. Steinberg came out and told us how things went, Thank you to them for being here with us!! It was a great help.  Thanks for all your prayers, and i'll update again when i can.

Holly had a minor setback today, we went for a walk and ended up with a really bad tummy ache, but then she had some tingling going on in her face and hand so they started her back on the IV again today, they don't think she is getting enough fluids, so the possibility of coming home tomorrow doesn't look so good right now, but she has good color, and good spirits and sleeping soundly at the moment.  Hopefully things will turn back around and she'll start drinking more on her own.  All of the other IV's have been removed and she is off of the BP medication now so thats pretty good, she isn't having much pain at all in her head area, just had morphine a couple of times since the surgery.

Hope this finds you all well and we'll talk to you tomorrow.

Hillary

Hillary - Tell her to drink up!!!  I constantly have a bottle of water in my hand since my surgery - it does wonders!  By the way, the morpine made me sick to my stomach as well  Smiley.  I feel for her!  Holly, keep up the good work!

Hillary,
My daughter Mandy told me to Holly hang in there, if you knew her and her state of mind you would laugh. She also threw up after surgery thats why she said that, I hope the tingling stops, she should be o.k. I feel it. Good Luck and keep us posted. We're still praying.

Holly says hi to everyone, she is doing much better today and is coming home tomorrow morning!! yayyyy!! she is very excited and has been up and moving around alot today, very little swelling, and brusing.  good appetite and drinking a whole lot more.  She went to the hospital school today and did some arts and crafts with the others and wasn't to shy about the bandage on her head, that is getting easier for her.

I'm very proud of how she is doing.  we snuggle and lay in her bed together at night and watch a little tv before she goes to sleep so she enjoys that.

take care everyone and i'll talk to you all soon
Hillary
