A short update on Tyler
May 14th, 2004 at 12:10pm

Been a while since I posted an update on Tyler so here's it all in a nut shell:
Tyler has a strenght of 9 lb/per what I'm not sure in his left hand compared to the 25 lb/per ? in his right hand.
His arm moves how he want it to, now we are working on getting his fingers and thumb to listen. It's interesting to watch Tyler reprimand his left hand for not listening to his brain, then show it what it's suposed to do with his right hand.
Next month will be a year since his surgery, boy where did the time go????? He is starting to get his confindence back and even went to play basketball with the neighbor kids. He is acting more and more like a 12-year-old and I am loving it.

Wonderful news.  Isn't it funny how kid's mind works.  I never would have thought to show my left hand how to do things with my right.  Keep us informed on his progress.
