Malachi had his surgery today in Boston with Dr. Scott and Dr. Smith. It went perfect and they were able to do both sides today!! We are so thankful.

We know that he is a ticking time bomb still and the next days, weeks and months are just as important. We contiune to remain positive and hopeful that he will have no further complications!

The staff here at Boston as simply amazing!! We are in awe. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Dr. Scott and Dr. Smith.

I am so thankful for this site. It has provided us with immeasurable knowledge on Moyamoya. Thank you all for sharing you life, your journey and you family with us!! We are forever grateful!

I would say the difficult part is now behind you and the journey to recovery from the surgery begins. Don't rush him back into his normal life, give him lots of time.

I am so Happy Malachi is past the first step and on the road to recovery. Don't rush him back to "normal" activities. Keep an eye on him so he doesn't overexert himself, but it is important to allow him to explore his own boundaries. Be supportive. He will get his strength from you.
