You'll notice I've re-arranged the look of the board today. Don't be freaked out, everything is still here, just moved around and/or re-worded a little. ;)

Just wanted to give everyone a place to post about everyday kind of stuff and not have the entire focus of the board on Moyamoya issues... basically, a place to RELAX!

I would still expect Moyamoya related topics, help, support, questions, etc. stay up under the Moyamoya category, but use this place to have some fun!

Yeah, I've wanted to put up that post to dreamerdi & babyblue so bad I had to create an entirely new board just to have a place to put it up! lol

Couldn't think of a better name for it since that's all it is... jibber jabber.

I just absolutely love the new board Deej!! It couldn't be more perfect. A place where we can relax and talk more comfortably and get our mind off things for a moment and even get to know eachother a little better on a less serious side. WTG baby!! [smiley=bow.gif] You da man!!!

DJ,
When I stumbled in just over a year ago I just thought I had found a little info. I would have never guessed I had found so many friends and so much support. I love the changes that have been happening around here and I look forward to meeting everyone someday. Till then:

WELL, IT'S TUESDAY AND ONLY A LITTLE OVER A WEEK TO GO TIL SURGERY. LISA AND I HAVE TALKED ABOUT THE TIME BOMB SYNDROME. IT GETS WORSE EACH DAY, EVEN THOUGH SURGERY GETS CLOSER EVERDAY. LIFE GOES ON AS USUAL UNTIL THEN I GUESS. DOES ANYONE KNOW JUST EXACTLY WHAT A FUNCTIONAL MRI IS? I HAVE THAT THIS THURSDAY. THEY HAVE GIVEN ME A SEDATIVE SINCE IT WILL BE A COUPLE HOURS. NEXT TEST IS THE MEMORY PSYCH TEST. ANY INFO ON THAT WOULD BE WELCOMED AS WELL.CINDY

I've had a functional MRI before when I participated in a blood-flow study. Basically, it's just like a regular MRI. However, they have you doing different things during the scanning. Which is why I'm wondering why they would give you a sedative??? Anyway, I had to watch a computer screen and press a triger when I saw certain things. This was all while they were scanning my brain!

I believe they gave me the sedation due to my having terrible arthritis in my right shoulder and arm and not being able to stay in one spot for a very long time. Thanks for your reply. Sincerely, Cindy
