I so agree with Nancy.With a successful surgery your Dr. Should be giving you a much better outlook for the future.My daughter was 5 at the time of surgery and in very unstable condition at the time. She had 5 strokes one was the day before surgery and one in between surgeries which left her with no use of her left side. She is now doing great and has had no new stroke in over a year now.She is gaining back the use of her left side, and almost walking on her own.We know that the threat of a stroke will always be there but really don't expect any more.A too wonder the same things as Nancy.We have had a few things that Kathleen's Dr.'s here have had to consult with Dr.Scott about, I'm sure he can head you in the right direction with the headaches.( I also think he might have a different answer as to the future)Even if it's sugesting a neurologist nearby who can better understand Moyamoya.Please keep us posted and ask away. Everyone here is so helpful.
