My niece, Mandy had seizures for approximately a year before she was diagnosed with moyamoya and her major stroke. If you read her mom's post, down on 3/29/03 about seizures, she explains that her second opinion from, the greatest, Dr Steinberg, explained to her that the seizures were the onset of moyamoya.
If you're really worried, perhaps you'd feel more comfortable with a second opinion in your son's case.
