Well, I had problems with a connection for the first couple of days but I moved to a new hotel and am good to go now.
Been busy running around San Francisco the last couple of days getting as many pictures as possible. I lost my hard drive at home a couple of weeks ago along with most of the pictures I've taken in the last year or so. Trying to get as many of them back as possible!
My tests went well as far as I know. Had SPECTs Monday and Wednesday but haven't seen the results of them yet. Have an appt with Dr. Steinberg this coming Monday to go over all of the results.
I was able to watch most of my angiogram Tuesday and it all looked good. Both grafts look to be wide open and I haven't been experiencing any new symptoms. Again, will go over the "official" results with Dr. S. on Monday. I don't excpect any surprises though.
It's been AWESOME hanging out with Lisa. Went to her appt last Monday with Dr. S. He couldn't see all he wanted to with her angiogram so he's asked her to have a couple of tests while she's here so he can get the pictures he wants.
She had a SPECT on Tuesday and another one today. She's waiting to see how the SPECT turns out before she has another angiogram. We're hoping her SPECTs show good bloodflow so she won't need the angio.
We invaded downtown San Fran today and she made me do some HELLA walking! It reminded me of the stories my grandparents used to tell me about walking uphill to school both ways!! I'm convinced they grew up in San Francisco!! LOL
You would have laughed at us two with moyamoya walking the hills of San Francisco!!! We were both blaming each other for getting off at the wrong trolly car stop! hehehehe
I'll put up some pictures of our trip soon....
As for Judy, I talked to her on the phone for a few minutes Thursday after she got here, but she is pretty busy with her test schedule and they're staying on the other side of the bay so we haven't had time to hook up yet. Hope to meet up whth her Monday before her surgery. It would be incredible to get another picture with another 3 MM'ers!
