Lisa, will you please let us know what the doctor says about moyamoya being inherited. Some places on the internet says it is, other places says it isn't. All of my husbands brothers and sisters have been tested and the test was negative however his brother just younger than him just suffered a hemorage in the brain stem but they says it's not related to moyamoya. Also him and his sister have suffered internal bleeding within there stomach but doctors have not been able to identify where for the past 6 years. The bleeding is so much that they have to go in for blood transfusions regularly. A doctor just recently mentioned that moyamoya could possible occur in other parts of the body besides the head which could be a cause of this. Have you heard anything like this before?
