My son at age 12 just recently, last month started having seizures. he has only had two in a one month span and is going through numerous testing. I just found out an hour ago that my neice was diagnosed with moya moya and it is not looking good for her. My question is: is this something hereditary? I read the odds and scanned through all the other stuff but now I am extremely concerned because some of it starts with either seizures or strokes. My mother has also had a stroke within the last 6 months, but she is 71 and my neice is only31 and my son is only 12.Any info would be greatly appreciated. missy6487@yahoo.com
